People need to differentiate between religion and spirituality. Religion is authority and tradition while spirituality is personal and infinitely varied. Religion acts as a medium to interfere with the individual’s ability to develop their own spiritual practice in favor of a belief system that serves power. Religion perverts divinity to enslave the masses.
