Microsoft might just be planning to make the next generation of Windows a cloud-based, subscription service. While we have already had evidence of the former, fresh new leak hints at the latter too.

    I’m assuming it’ll be for it’s ai features or certain parts of the os which can be unlocked for a fee not the entire OS.

    All we have are some INI files which suggest subscription status will be tracked

    Still hate it personally, but I cannot see them being dumb enough to gate the entire OS behind a paywall so quickly
