I do also love the subtle audio references as well.
Like the random gorn fight music playing if something dramatic and fighty happens.
Yes! Or the door opening/closing wooshes.
Yep even the occasional jankily sliding door the crew notice like the original trek and it’s not so smooth hand operated doors.
Futurama is the reason I finally started watching Star Trek.
As I watched, I saw all the references that Futurama had made which endeared both to me so much more. ☺️
You can tell how much all those nerds on the Futurama writing staff love star trek. And rightfully so!
Then the star trek episode happened and it’s a top 10 episode for me
Was that the Star Trek Wars or the Star Wars Trek?
It’s not the mass migration of star wars fans
