I rolled 36 damage, but fudged my to hit roll and shot my crewmate in the foot instead.
I immediately had a flashback to that sci-fi oneshot that Ashley Johnson ran over on Critical Role.
I get the sentiment but it’s hard to have a good roll with a large negative modifier like many people have.

IIRC there were builds in 3e D&D that could crit on something insane like 11 or 12.
