What is the game with the tallest possible protagonist?

My best guess is Katamari Damacy.
You start out as a small ball that rolls around and smaller than you things you touch stick to you, making you grow.
Eventually you start ripping out entire islands from the sea.

Depends on your definition of protagonist probably? If I recall correctly in Katamari you are not actually the ball, but the very small prince who rolls the ball around. In the early stages when the ball is small enough you can still see him, but later when you roll up buildings etc. your actual protagonist is too small to be visible.

If we are being loose by definition of “protagonist” here,

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everything_(video_game)

Lets you become a galaxy. In terms of physical scale that’s pretty tall

So what does that leave for anon? Pac-Man? Mario games (as long as he’s not playing Luigi). Hollow Knight seems safe

Wtf? If you’re short - people don’t like it, if you’re tall - people don’t like it too, if you’re of normal height - noone cares. So what’s the point really in worrying so much about it?
