YES!! Thanks, that was driving me crazy.
Captain Disillusion did a whole series on video technology and I falsely remembered it coming from there.
When you take a pic with your phone and the weird things are shown, that’s a moire.
When you zoom in a hair and the grid’s everywhere, that’s a moire.
When the parallel lines are just slightly inclined, that’s a-moiré!
