Clearly, nature didn’t invent cute on behalf of our species. Maybe ants? They’re pretty much everywhere too, so they get to see lots of cute animals.
I don’t know about ants, there’s only like 15k species of ants
Beetles though, there’s like 350k species of beetles. They’re everywhere and with so many different kinds they get all the opportunities to see cute things.
But not where the murder floofs are.

Isn’t there an adaptation for some organisms that’s basically, “im just a fren c’mere and give me a pat” and then you help them the most by feeding them and they always remember you fondly as, “mmmmm good nom”?
Yeah pretty much, when polars are hungry there’s no hope if youve not a high powered rifle, but when they’re not, and especially if they’re in an certain mood that accompanies certain events, you might end up their friend.
You can always return their armor to them…
