In the gym always spot, you never know but damn why didn’t she have someone helping already. Sounds like bullshit, every gym i’ve been to even the most cheap they have spotters.

Are… are you suggesting that a 4-chan user might be posting bullshit?! Can they even do that?!
At mine they have a 15 min interval on rounds. I’ve been one of only two on the floor many times.
Always get a spotter folks!

There are less expensive ways to do that…
And more pleasant ones, if that’s your thing.
Or for the introverts - settle for more, lighter reps rather than pushing your upper limit when alone
Or, if you must, set up safeties!
Or bench without the collars (not ideal but allows you to bench full rom to failure)
I’ve always wondered why safeties aren’t just the default option.
