Hopefully this will be the end of our federation woes
At least for me, that’s not displaying as a proper mention, so it might not send lodion a notif. Hopefully if it doesn’t work, this will?

Looks like every post I’ve tested accross every instance I’ve tested is federating now, so hooray! Seems like things are fixed.

What about comments? Are they federating for you? Edit: I think I worked out the issue I was having, see edit of this comment.
Unfortunately this doesn’t actually seem to have fixed it. I left the following comment in the [email protected] thread, but it’s not showing up when viewed from lemmy.ml:
I can’t speak for others, but I still seem to be experiencing issues with federation. I’ve got a comment in here that isn’t showing up on other instances.

Correct me if I’m wrong but your comment seems to have federated. If so was there something you did to get this working? I don’t think my comments are federating. See my comment here as an example and the post on this instance.
Edit: I suspect this is to do with lemmy.world still being on 0.18.5. I know other recent comments of mine have federated and that must be because other instances where I commented are on 0.19.2.
Yeah it started working eventually. Seemed like there was a delay of some sort before it started working. Possibly because there was a backlog that the workers had to get through before they could start federating new stuff.
