Also comparing comment threads (on YouTube) of the games yesterday, it’s amazing how much more derision is stirred when the officials seem to have bias (chiefs ravens), compared to when the game is called with restraint (49ers lions). The niners lions comments were downright civil, while Ravens and Chiefs were openly hostile.

yesterday I was at the grocery store and the young lady at the register asked me if I was going to watch the big games today. I told her I didn’t really care about football aside from one team. She asked if I was going to watch the Superbowl and I said probably not. I asked if she was going to and she said yes because her hobby was Taylor Swift. It was a moment that I will remember for a while because it was fun to be in that space where this young lady who didn’t care about the game was excited about Taylor Swift being a part of it, and me whos watched it all my life could care less.
