Were they doing market research, going: “you know, we could make a civ game, call it something else, and take their market”? And everyone said “yeah, that’s a good idea”?
So weird. This is not Paradox’s forte, but maybe the game is awesome so…
I mean, they only publish it, didnt devop it.
But yeah I cant take any convincing major point from this video to buy this game over all the other CIV clones…
Yeah, I’ve liked other paradox games because they aren’t civ. I put a lot of hours into civ but I’m kinda over the whole turn-based hex grid epic strategy genre.
I was disappointed to install humankind and start it up only to discover it was a civ clone.
This feels kinda like they are taking a step backwards from where they were with CK, Europa, and HoI.
Did anyone see anything that would make you play this over any civ game?
Thought it was Civ6 from the thumbnail.
