Former President Donald Trump suggested Tuesday that at least half a dozen names are on his vice presidential shortlist — a list ranging from South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

During a Fox News town hall event, host Laura Ingraham asked Trump about six possible choices for his running mate: DeSantis, Scott, biotech entrepreneur and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and Gabbard.

I hope it’s Vivek considering how thoroughly unlikable he is, but I’ll take “DeSanctimonious” if for no other reason than to regularly point out how much time Trump spent belittling DeSantis in every way he could think of.

He’s getting the three of them drooling and working harder than ever to be his bitch. None of them matter to him.

So… it’s going to be Tim Scott.

Trump knows that both Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramasamy explicitly positioned themselves as Trump 2.0 but he’s too insecure to elevate anyone who might threaten him - or his attempts to create a dynasty - Vivek might skate by on being a sniveling bitch-boy but DeSantis has actual national recognition and occasionally steals Trump’s spotlight.

Don’t forget, before he was attacking Disney and allowing actual Nazis with swastika flags to march outside of Disney World, DeSantis was lying about “training” Navy Seals in Iraq and torturing people in Guantanamo.

In fairness to Ron, the Navy Seals have saved tens of dollars on spoons since he has taught them how to eat pudding with their fingers, eliminating the need for cumbersome spoons.

    Calling a Sarah Pailin 2.0

    • He leans towards aesthetic over skills in lawyers, press secretaries etc
    • He would be smart to pick someone young to counter age
    • would not want to be upstaged with a career politician who might have ambitions.
