    Things like this terrify me. Don’t put half baked software into a multi-ton death machine.

    Think of all the devices you have now that run off a computer. I assume all of them at some point have done something weird and you’ve had to restart them. Why are we doing this with cars?

      Because wires are a fraction of the cost of hydraulics lines and mechanical parts. That’s also why they are removing physical controls and putting in cheap-ass touchscreens for everything. And then they call it “futuristic” so they can sell all that garbage to ignorant techbros.
