You really should be careful about washing any car in direct sunlight if you want the best result/paint longevity. For the cybertruck I would think it would matter much less.
If you think that’s bad, you don’t even want to know what happens when it gets rained on!
As much as I can’t stand this vehicle, reading the article it seems like this failure was a coincidence and not necessarily caused by washing it.
