I don’t think there will be a rif for lemmy. If i recall correctly the dev has moved on to something else

After using revanced to spoof the client and change the package name it’s working again.
I like the Sync UI for now, but we need a LIF.
Infinity seems closer for me. Only been using it for a minute though.
Could rebrand as LiFT: Lemmy is Fun Too!
I still think they should just go full aggression and call it RwF, with a dog logo.
With its egalitarian nature, people could get a LiFE - because Lemmy is For Everyone.

Yep this just started this morning for me. Since July 1st, RiF has been working for me as long as I was not logged in (no ReVanced Manager needed), but no more.
Was expecting this a month ago. Guess its finally time to say bye to reddit. RIF was the only app that made reddit worthwhile on mobile. Sad to see it go.

Reddit itself is also down right now. Are we sure that’s not the issue?
I was using RiF through Revanced and it logged me out and trying to log back in threw a User-Agent error. Reddit on web went down about 15 minutes later. It seems an unlikely error to be thrown because the site’s going down (and I’ve never seen it using RiF legitimately).
Nah, it’s back up, and RIF still doesn’t work now.
5 star overall rating in Google play, well deserved. I can’t check the free ver cause it’s hidden from store. I hope dev would try making Lemmy is fun as well some day :D
Update: if anyone’s wondering, free ver sits at 4.8, i found it cause i had left a review on it
Did they finally kill the app or is it just because the gerbil running reddit’s servers died again?
It seems reddit is actually down, as I can’t even get it on a pc browser. I’m holding out hope that I can still rif anonymously, otherwise, I agree, it’s bye bye morning/daytime reddit.

That sealed the deal for me to use sync for lemmy and migrate over
Reddit as a whole is down, so maybe small chance the forbidden thing was a result of that.
Maybe they DDOSed themselves again by banning all the apps.
