I have so many questions, how did she get there? is she still in her pyjamas? Did she enter any other races? Is this a prank on her or did she bribe someone? What was going through the other racers minds when she tipped up on the start line? Was she just pulled from the crowd?
This is why I never understand why people use corruption to get public positions. You are incompetent. You know you are incompetent. If you weren’t incompetent, you would need corruption to get the job. Why would you want a job were your incompetence is made blatantly obvious?
Become a socialite or some other stupid shit.
Plenty of incompetent people fail upwards due to other factors. These people are not self aware enough to see what you see.

This race is an extreme example, but say it was a department in government. All the members of the department have to work harder to try to compensate for the one member that got her role because she was the niece of some important person. She’s still getting paid, and probably getting paid more than anyone else. The work is still being done and she’s taking credit for the teams accomplishments.
That’s the sort of time I took when I was forced against my will to run at school!
