It is actually really sad that the devs have to basically go along with the angry mob in order to regain their reputation through no fault of their own. You can’t cater to gamers or any other consoomer demographic, they are mentally children.
To be clear, a bunch of that mob is angry because they can no longer play the video game they paid money for. It’s been delisted in over 170 countries and Sony had no problem selling it to people who they knew would not be able to make a PSN account
