Organized religion has always been a scam preying on the poor and gullible. Them using modern technology to do it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
I’ve always viewed it as ‘the stupid tax’. Much like gambling - seeing relatives play the lottery for ages and never win more than a few dollars… it’s preying upon the uninformed or gullible.
This is America where we have the freedom to get taken advantage of. You want to rid us of that freedom?
