China completed its first 10-kilometer vertical takeoff and landing test of a reusable rocket on June 23 at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The scale of this test is the largest in the country so far.

    The current Long March series are already price-competitive-ish with SpaceX, but they’re missing manufacturing capacity to continue churning out rockets. This seems to be the solution?

      I mean this was the whole point of the X prize and the private space race, right? Create competition to lower costs.
