    Zúñiga referenced that paralysis during the rebellion, telling reporters the military was tired of the infighting and was seeking “to restore democracy.”

    The infighting between the two parties is what democracy is. One party getting everything it wants and the other nothing is called a dictatorship.

    Way to bury the ledge AP. The general claims this was a political false flag ordered by the president 🤣.

    No idea if that is true but that’d be so funny.

      They also skipped the part where this was apparently caused by the general saying mean things in a paper about the president, getting fired, then coming back with tanks to hash things out.

      All in all, I’m glad this was over quickly with only damaged palace doors and walls and not death and destruction of Bolivian people.
