We don’t deserve privacy, because they say we might be criminals. But when the state is criminal, it’s a crime to expose it.

Viruses are free to do whatever they want here. Under the oppressive China regime, not so much.

From what people were saying on Twitter, you can’t get a doctor’s exception. You gotta convince the cop that you need it for health reasons. I’m sure that will go well.

      Be sick.

Cop forces you to take off your mask.

You cough in the direction of the cop.

Get arrested for assaulting a cop.

From what I remember NYC cops died of covid at one of the highest rates of any group of people in the country.

Cops in general did. It was the leading cause of death for cops, followed by car accidents from not wearing seatbelts and heart attacks from sitting in their cars all the time.

One of my favorite bits is to get mad and call cops pussies when people say cops have a dangerous job because my former job of Pizza Delivery Driver was significantly more dangerous and we weren’t allowed to carry weapons

If i remember correctly, being a police officer isn’t even in the top 10 dangerous jobs. It’s jobs like logging, industrial fishing, electrician, and some medical jobs. Yet you never hear about them when they die on the job yet the entire city shuts down if a single cop slips on a banana peel

According to Forbes for the top 10 we’ve got:

                  Loggers

                  Fishing and hunting workers

                  Roofers

Pilots and flight engineers (helicopters are the main reason)

                  Steel workers

Delivery and truck drivers (includes semi-trucks to UPS to pizza delivery)

                  Garbage collectors

                  Miners

                  Construction workers

                  Electrical line workers

Edit: Also with the exception of loggers miners they’re all from either transportation accidents (car crashes, or helicopter crashes for pilots) or falling off of stuff

I remember that; wasn’t the NYPD the same guys wearing the ‘I can breathe’ shirts at one point as counter protest after murdering someone? I recall reading someone saying after this came out they donated a bunch of those ‘I can breathe shirts’ to the NYPD during covid, lol

Something tells me the majority of these places don’t care about surgical masks or the likes, and ‘anti masks’ generally mean covering your entire face or wearing any kind of mask along with other menacing gear like full shades and gloves.

Actually, since they’re western, I’m betting they actually do care because they’re idiots. Most Asian countries don’t care because it’s normal, and I’ve seen middle easterners, latin americans, africans, and russians (to a lesser extent) wear masks as well in vlogs and political events.

I don’t live there, but after seeing how the small business tyrants lobbied and agitated to kill as many immunocompromised people as possible where I live, I decided I would become the kind of person who doesn’t go out and spend money to be social anymore, no matter what happened in terms of the pandemic.

    fuck them all.

Remember, ‘stop buying outside food and make it at home’ and ‘stop buying the latest iphone’, but also ‘eat out to help out’ and ‘buy the latest iphone’.

The comments ‘stop buying avocado toast’ and ‘buy avocado toast’ by the same people are literally only a few years apart, lol

one of my friends reminded me of some messaging going around encouraging people to “shop our values” as a stand in for “supporting local businesses”… the local businesses, many of which took PPP loans, fired all their staff, pocketed the payout and then got forgiven… only to turn around and complain “nobody wants to work anymore” when nobody wanted to come back to their shit show.

to be clear, I do believe in the efficacy of spending money in the local community generally, but a whole bunch of local businesses showed their entire ass during COVID, and so fuck them forever.

The worst people I have ever known have all come from either Long Island, Westchester, or Staten Island. They’re the reason cops are so beloved in NYC.

Hey come on, some of us are stuck here!

I’m a factory schmuck that is completely worthless on paper. I have no idea how to secure another shit job that will be willing to wait for me to find an “apartment” willing to take me in without x months already working at the job.

But yeah, most people on long Island suuuuuuuuuck. It’s one of the many reasons I want to leave so bad…
