The Trump campaign is running its own more modest ad buy, including advertising in Trump’s home turf of West Palm Beach, raising eyebrows about how solidly red or MAGA Florida is.
That’s probably Trump. The Lincoln Project and some others specifically run ads in places he’s likely to be, hoping to get under his skin (and maybe reach some of the voters). He’s probably been bitterly complaining about it and the campaign is running local ads to appease him.
I really hope they blanket Fox, et al, the night before the debate, really get under his skin there.

This is exactly what the Lincoln Project thinks is happening, iirc they called the ad buys the campaign buying him a “safety blanket” to protect from the “mean” ads.

They can just play clips of him admitting out loud he will be a vengeful autocrat.
That is about what they did. It’s a decent ad. The scary voiceover really works.

Also, if you didn’t catch the one the Lincoln Project put out, give it a watch. Horrifying, and entirely plausible if Trump wins.
Lincoln project ads against Trumo are good. These guys have serious skill. And this ad gave me the chills.

As I understand it, some of the right-wingers are aiming to charge women and girls like her with attempted murder, or murder if they have an abortion. So it could become a capital offense in many states. All part of the men-owning-women program of the right wing.
The current GOP and their voters really doesn’t like that the death penalty is off the table for most things. Drug dealers, LGBT people, illegal immigrants, I’ve even heard people whining that you can’t execute SHOPLIFTERS.
Remember non-fascist boys and girls, if you saw someone shoplifting for food, no you didn’t.
That’s not what they scare monger about on faux news channels. They make it seem like all cities are full is hoards of group shop lifters that run in and empty a store every damn day.
It’s ridiculous and meant to separate the blue cities from their idea of their country.
But if we’re honest, the real crime is “daring to aspire to be more than a cheap, husband-adjacent taxpayer factory”.
