Actually I have to stand up for MTG here. We genuinely have one of the better gaming communities. He wasn’t just banned by a tournament, he was kicked out after a mass public movement by major content creators and pros, many of whom received death threats for months afterwards

Perhaps. I checked out of it many years ago… after an incident in the 90s where a much older man creeped on much younger me and the organizers at the time did absolutely nothing about it and said if I wasn’t comfortable there that I could just leave. So I did.
Totally valid. Yeah it’s way better than it used to be, though there are definitely still shitty elements. A lot of them have left or gone to Flesh and Blood tho
