I really don’t understand why people do this.
- People believing it are less inclined to bother voting, demotivating your base.
- It embarrases you later.
- It motivates your opposition.
You can not manifest the presidency and doing so is actively detrimental.
I don’t see the upside of doing this for the Democratic Party. If they’re right, I suppose it’s smug points, but it both pisses people off because of the arrogance and it makes their own potential voters complacent.

I mean Hillary did win the popular vote, it was just the much beloved institutions that cost her the presidency.
I saw this post and thought she was in a comfortable lead. I went to look at the polls and saw that she’s not in a favorable position and it’s just getting worse. I find that quite hilarious and I can’t wait to see this memed in about 2 weeks.
