I forget that the English have to pay water bills

Here’s a reminder of what the water companies have been doing to get into this mess.

How else are they to cover the fines they caused themselves.

Those dividends won’t pay for themself.

Set stringent standards.

Set maximum bill rises.

Renationalise them without compensation if they fail to oblige.

There is no point in them even being privatised. I can’t choose my water provider like I can with internet, electricity, gas, etc. It serves no benefit to us.
