Don’t know what app I like yet.

  • Connect have the worse UI in my opinion (things are hidden).
  • Jerboa crashes a lot on my phone.
  • Thunder is slow to load and the search is bad.
  • wefwef I like the search and exploration, but the text editing is the worse.

Where’s Sync?!? 😭

I bounce between Jerboa for discovery(its search works best for finding communities) and Liftoff for browsing posts. Though Jerboa seems to be improving faster than Liftoff.

I cycled through many of them, each of them had some bugs or the other until I settled for Jerboa. Honestly I can’t wait for sync.

Do any of these apps for Android offer a RIF style interface layout that doesnt feel like scrolling on the generic reddit app?

I was also switching regularly, but I’m now fully using wefwef for now. I’ll test sync, Artemis,… When they’ll be available

The only issue with wefwef is the text editing. Any other app have it better.

I think the most recent Connect updates makes it much better. I’ve been using it more than Liftoff the last couple of days. Is Thunder not on the Google Play store? I couldn’t find it.

I’m trying out Liftoff right now, and so far I think it’s given me the best overall experience. I think I’ll wait until the rest of the Lemmy apps stabilize before thinking about trying other apps again.

I’m on Connect right now. I quite like it, especially how fast it is (or maybe that’s a consequence of Lemmy being fast in general). UI seems clean enough. But I really really miss the content filtering that Sync provided.

I was really positively surprised to hear Sync is being developed for Lemmy. Hoping it releases soon!

I’m holding out hope for boost lemmy. Used boost exclusively for Reddit for the longest time. Jebora seems to work best for me but Ive had both Jeb and connect for a while.

      I don’t have one =(

I’m using liftoff to look content and make posts and comments, but wefwef when I want to search for communities.

Lifoff has the best “share” in my opinion: to share an image with a friend over WhatsApp

I switched from Jerboa to Connect, and then stayed with Connect.

You can preregister for Boost for Lemmy! It was the best Reddit API imho and hopefully the new App will come out soon.

Did you try Sync? I think I tried all reddit apps but never really got around to actually use reddit on a regular basis until I found Sync.

Today is a Connect day and within the past week they’ve changed it up enough that I’m really enjoying it. Mostly hiding posts, hiding read posts, and marking scrolled past posts as read (so hide on refresh). It’s not perfect but it’s better than it was a few days ago before the most recent update.
