The funniest part of this story is that her kid was driving a Tesla, because his mom says he finds California gas prices too high, and electric cars are a librul conspiracee in their world.

Shouldn’t they like Teslas now? What with Elon being super MAGA and all?

That would suggest a logical construction to their hatred. They will hate the EV and love Maga-Elon simultaneously in complete willful cognitive dissonance bliss.

“Never waste an opportunity to demean your political opponent” - conservatives on social media everywhere.

Never ceases to amaze me how rabidly conservatives take most any opportunity to inject something derogatory.

“Nice day outside.” “It’d be better without Biden jacking up egg prices!”

“Did you see all the police at [store]?” “Probably some murderer the libs released from prison!”

“Wow, gas is under $3 gallon!” “It’d be free if it wasn’t for those damn libs!”

Well, now I wanna know what was actually going on. Did the kid do something to annoy the guy? Was the other driver just a weirdo? Was it mere coincidence that they happened to be going to places that were near one another?

I once accidentally followed someone all the way from the store to their house. I really hope they didn’t notice me.

I once followed someone about 30 miles down the interstate, off the exit, through multiple turns, and then down my street. Turns out they live 2 houses down from me. I was shitting bricks as we made the turn to our dead-end street as I figured it could get ugly if they were overly paranoid about this mystery car behind them for the past half an hour.

I once had someone follow be for 45 minutes, from a major highway to back roads, all the way up my driveway in the middle of the night. I was ready to back over them if they did anything funny, but it turned up to be my brother’s friend. I told him it was a good thing he didn’t try pranking me.

I’ve done this, but I recognize most the cars on my street, so it’s not weird when I see them following, or end up following them.

I was out walking once and this woman got out of her car to talk to me and wanted to know what I was doing there. I said I was taking a walk, but then she demanded to know why I was standing in front of her house, looking horrified as she did so.

She was relieved and felt silly when the answer was.

“I was walking along the street and I happened to be walking past your house, when you stopped me to talk, and now I can’t really leave while you’re still talking to me.”

She apologized and realized she was just being paranoid.

I can perfectly understand, I get paranoid too sometimes.

I live in a town of 500 people. After a night class, I once followed a car from a major city 1.5 hours away, all the way to my tiny private dirt road with 25 houses on it, at 1030PM. I’m sure whoever was driving thought they were about to get yoked. If they even noticed lol

It was all total BS. None of it happened. It looks like that pic was in a parking lot. If not, that’s far too much traffic for anybody to be flying around in, even if they tried.

These people… They are so blinded by their “political opponent”, that they fail to see their neighbor for who they are.

They are primed to destroy the United States of America, while waving the American flag. I reject them. I reject their bullshit. Go kowtow to a billionaire, you douchebag.

Thank you! Finally, it’s about time someone said it. I’m so tired of reading the same comments on Lemmy praising the Evil Empire U$ians over and over. It makes me so sick, that I go to my universal healthcare doctor everyday without worrying about bankruptcy on my amazing mass transit system and don’t pay any tip for the coffee I get on the way.

Classic Clovis CA. If anyone has ever been in the area, or talks to someone from there you’d understand what I mean. It’s a city that gets so offended when you say “oh you’re from Fresno” because it’s a suburb.
