I assume the berry picking was at a family farm, family farm labor has been allowed at a federal level for 12 year olds outside school hours since the FLSA was passed in 1938. Kids of all ages can have paper routes, act on stage/tv/film/radio, and work at a family business (that is non hazardous.)

Look at Musk, he’s the CEO of 3 or 4 big company and he still find the time to tweet from multiple accounts several times a day, be an amazing father to a dozen children, rank as one of the top ten player in games that requires hundreds of hours of playtime, attend far-right rallies, kiss the potus’s ass and probably jerk to a picture of himself every day. Meanwhile I struggle to spend time with my family while only being a stupid little college teacher. We should all kill ourselves, we are not worthy.
