law enforcement is working to determine applicable charges in this incident.

In other words, oppress first, invent excuse later.

Which means that they failed, not that they didn’t try. And the arrest still goes on his record where it can seriously impact his future job prospects

Was he arrested? Article says detained, that’s a different thing. Any time you’re pulled over for a traffic stop you’re being detained.

nah he’ll be fine. it’s the felonies that really get you. anything that would care about arrests without charges would respect the story. anything else is just looking for felonies

As someone who had an arrest record that has since been expunged sometimes they won’t even ask. They’ll pull your background check, see the arrest record, and throw your application in the trash.

I feel you and I acknowledge that this DOES happen… but I work in post-incarcerial rehabilitation, and the people with minor charges or no charges are always better off than the people with felonies. Getting a job with a felony sucks. They do get jobs too though!

Oh yeah I should have clarified that I’m not saying they’re on the same level just that it does still have a negative impact.

Rich nazi advertising a Swastika t shirt. Cool and normal.

One of the many flags being waved is the one from a heavily oppressed people. Outragous evil.

Not at all surprised, but just as depressing.
