Pentel ENERgel pens.
But if I had to choose, 2 or 5. I have 3 at work and while it is nice, I don’t know if it has the same kind of staying power 2 or 5 do.
2, please.
I was always fond of how the 2 pen scratches the paper while writing.
I’ve written on Cross since middle school (1980s)…
Pilot G2 and BIC are both classics, but I’m a sucker for a liquid ink pen
My husband works at an architecture firm. They exclusively use #2 in 3 different colors. My husband has gotten in the habit of putting a few in his pocket during the day while he works and emptying his pockets when he gets home. We have WAY TOO MANY PENS!!! I’ve been bagging them up and giving them away!! They are nice pens tho… very good for drafting/drawing/etc. I just don’t need 300 of them. Beware that the blue ones tend to explode the most.
Oh my god, the explosions with the black ones are horrible, because you don’t realize until you start to grip and the ink just coats your fingers. I love them, but the horror will live forever in my mind.
I had a pen like that when I was very young, had to be maybe in the 5th grade. It exploded on me because I chewed on the end of it while thinking. Parts of my homework desk remained blue until I graduated high school, I’m lucky my teeth didn’t also.
Probably 2, 6, or 7. I’ve always loved the V5/V7, but the liquid ink is messy, a bic is a classic for a reason, and the PaperMate flair has been my go-to felt-tip for a long time now. Though, the ultra-fine version is much better for writing than the medium one.
7, because they don’t feel special. I never have to fret about my brain wanting to save them for special occasions.
When I was a server, I only used Number 3, but it has to be the 0.5 size. 0.7 still smears too much.
Zebra F301
Scrolled far too long to find even a mention of Zebra. Uniball is the intro to good pens, but Zebra is where you land.
Was looking for this. I love my pink barrel F-301’s.
Definitely this one. Simple design and the fine point is so smooth to write with
The only option. I’m 43 and still using the one from middle school.
How did you not manage to lose that
- It’s basically the only kind of pen I use anyway.
Does a mechanical pencil count?
- Fisher space pen
I keep one at my desk and have one in my pocket (most of the time).
I’ve had the bullet version on me at all times for the last decade or so. Fits in my coin pocket of my jeans perfectly.
Same
Uniball Signo 207
Writes easy and the ink is bold and dries fast. Comfortable enough for having to write 7 pages of client notes every night, even with my arthritic hands.
This is the true answer. The 207/207+ ink is the greatest. The sharpie pens are close though, especially with the weight of the metal barrel.
7 because I like to eat my pen covers (please tell me I’m not alone in this).
