Imagine the leverage you’d need to have to make “the richest person in the world” do a Hitler salute on live TV. Sure, people who tolerate, much less support, Nazi stuff “are Nazis too” but I’m willing to believe that he might not have actual genocidal / thinking races are subhuman / etc beliefs and if he does, it happened recently - way after he became compromised.
To a certain extent, “bad” people succeed in capitalism and become powerful because of inherent personality traits, and a combination of lack of consequences and privilege creating lack of empathy. But to a much greater extent, I think power is handed to people once enough blackmail material is gathered

I think the world is better off with things like Tesla Amazon Uber and DoorDash. If you had a billion dollars, and you gave away 95% of it, you will still have 50 million dollars to your name, which is still more than you can possibly spend (unless you live like some ultra millionaire lifestyle and throw parties that cost a million bucks each and have a giant mansion with insane upkeep).
