    Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I thought Prey had a lot of practical effects that looked good and this is giving the impression of over the top CGI that is going to reduce the tension by being overwhelming and hard to follow.

      Prey used heavy CGI for the wild animals, especially obvious in the scene with the bear.

      First viewing I was blown away and thought it might be a top 10 movie for me, but it doesn’t feel so good with repeated viewings (while I still watch the original Predator every couple of years or so)
