    Isn’t one of the privileges of wealth that you can live where you want to, not where you can afford to?

    So if you like living in a first world country, why not just pay the extra tax and stay there?

    ohhhhhh we can’t tax the rich because they’ll leave! They haven’t even been touched yet, and they don’t want to pay for the infrastructure, people, environment they used to make money. Bunch of leaching scroungers.

      First that, but second: what kind of wealth do they have? According to the article they are real estate investors… I don’t really see them moving their buildings or the land outside of the UK. So nothing of value is lost, the wealth is still inside the UK. Only thing that left are two parasites that extracted from society without contributing back.
