About a month ago, with Tesla’s stock sinking and some investors irritated about Elon Musk’s White House focus, Tesla’s board got serious about looking for Musk’s successor.

Board members reached out to several executive search firms to work on a formal process for finding Tesla’s next chief executive, according to people familiar with the discussions.

Maybe if they’d done this years ago when that gawping skin suit full of loose stool borrowed against his stocks to buy Xitter, they’d still have an audience that cared.

A new CEO won’t change my mind. Until the whole board and Elon are completely divested of Tesla and the company is completely removed from the Fascist States of Fuckistan, I won’t consider it. Until the filth is washed away that company is dead to me.

For me, dead is dead. My book of grudges is not written in pencil. I even give side eye to Volkswagens.

Yes I am currently without a car, how did you guess?

I’ll do it. After all, I can’t possibly fuck it up worse than the last guy.

Since I’m so inexperienced as a CEO, I’d even do it for a tenth of a percent of his pay. I’d find a way to scrape by on several million a year.

I’d do it for his full pay, but I’d continue living in a small apartment and use the rest of the money to enable those without homes themselves to find one. Or maybe hire a lobbying firm to go against all the GOP Repuglicunts.
