I have the app installed from the Google Play store without any issue. Mostly uploading my phone photos. Could that means if I try to upload others files than media it will not work? Or Nextcloud isn’t updated on the Google Play store anymore?

Which organization fights this bullshit in US?

    Is it only EFF?

I reckon that the next phone I get will be a Linux Phone.

I will keep my iPhone mini for those things where I need an Android or iPhone (banking, government, etc), but my daily driver will be something that I have complete control over.

I’m not sure. I want a Linux Phone or compact tablet with a premium quality camera.

I would be happy if it does not have a capability to run Android Apps; only native KDE or GNOME apps. I would also be happy if it doesn’t support X and only works with Wayland.

The legacy of X, iOS and Android is a liability.

It’s better to get it fron F-Droid because you never know what kind of spyware “analytics” or “error reporting” Google Play injects. Repacking an APK is not that hard, especially if you control the cryptographic keys for signing them.

Play store is impossible to browse to see what’s worth trying for this reason.
