Roku aka six!
шість!
Insane that in less than 2 weeks, maybe 1, casualties would have passed 1 million.
I know it is not full on deaths each one, maybe 1/3 or 1/4 maybe if I take a guess, but the other 3/4 was basically wounded and most likely suffering lifetime injury. This also does not include the mental trauma a war like this causes.
Good luck Ukraine, you deserve every bit of freedom you now fight for, may you inflict death and injury to every invader in your country that is trying to sieze it from you.
I wish a graphic existed like this one, except showing the remaining stock levels of enlisted soldiers, tanks, planes, boats, planes, ect.
I’ve been hearing that russia is losing tanks faster than they can produce for two years now. Surely they’re almost out by now, right?
The thing is, the situation is not that they’ll run out of tanks one certain day and then stop fielding them completely. What’ll happen (what’s already been happening actually) is that seeing the end of their stocks approaching they’ll taper out their use, more and more. That’s already been happening for a year now: we’re seeing lower tank losses in each of these reports because they’re simply not using them so much anymore.
When their old stocks are completely used up (for all practical purposes) we’ll only see new-build armor, in correspondingly low volume. They’re never going to not have tanks at all.
