Your comment reminded me of how I got banned from lemmy.world news 2 years ago — a comment about an SC justice wiping Trumps cum from his mouth.

They sure have been trying hard for 3 years and it doesn’t seem to work. So don’t hold your breath.

If anything the country that got demilitarised is Russia. Their military is so depleted, they even had to ask for help to North Korea in Ukraine.

Unless it’s disinformation and you wish to counter it, worthless posts like this are only ment to stur shit. That’s all.

Weakest president ever. FGS imagine another US president just meekly passing on a Russian threat rather than saying what the USA is going to do about it

Yes, that is how a war typically works. One side attacks, then another side counterattacks. Amazing.

Why is the US President doing PR for a hostile nation? Why does this come across like cheerleading for said hostile nation? Rhetorical questions of course.

Who fucking cares at this point? Trump has done so much worse things by now. He can legally be president for a third term, so it’s not like it’s gonna impact his re-election. Most of the world already hates the man and think he is vile and disgusting. What is one pee tape going to change.

The pee tape could release today and be barely in the current news cycle. One camp will say “This just confirmed what we already knew”, the other camp will say “Fake news”. And tomorrow it will be forgotten.

No, it has to be something way worse than a simple pee video.

Of course not, something like that takes more than a single signature.

Otherwise all the other stuff like healthcare and gun control would have gone through a long time ago.

The “why” doesn’t even matter at this point. Whether or not he’s actually a Russian asset is inconsequential. All that matters is the fact that he does everything a Russian asset would do.

He’s bragging that Russia told him something. He was feeling butthurt that no one told him about Ukraine’s planned drone attack. This is his way of soothing his fragile ego.

I liked when he said something negative about Putin last week, and Russia came out apologizing and explaining it away. Compromat.

Trump and his followers don’t see Russia as a hostile nation. They live in a bubble where everything is the opposite.

The issue is that because of nuclear treaties between USA and Russia, Russia is required to park them in the open. If USA wants Russia to keep them out in the open, they had to make a good argument.

Are they? They stopped letting the americans tour their nuke facilities a while ago, basically nullifying that part of the agreement. What’s stopping them from doing the same again?

Yeah the treaty history between USA and Russia is complex. Russia stopped participating a few years ago in the recent version of START. Said they’d still maintain warhead numbers though.

Strange, they both signed the same treaties yet the US usualy keeps their nuclear capable planes in hangars. Do you have any références to pertaining treaty articles?

Who wants to bet he never actually talked to putin and he just sits in the oval office alone for 1 hour talking to himself thinking what a great deal he made. And none of it actually happened.

“We discussed the attack on Russia’s docked airplanes…”

Is “docked” the correct term for airplanes parked on the tarmac? Seriously, I don’t know. You could use it for seaplanes moored to a dock, I guess, but that’s not what we’re talking about here.

Delegations sent by Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met in Istanbul on Monday to discuss how the conflict between their nations might end peacefully…

I’m tired of this being treated like some complex puzzle, where every proposed solution only seems to create more problems. It’s actually very simple. HEY PUTIN: Stop shooting. GTFO of Ukraine. Return the Ukrainian people you’ve kidnapped. It’s just that easy!

Is “docked” the correct term for airplanes parked on the tarmac?

It was a common term back during the revolutionary war when the American troops stormed the airports.

Remember the incident at the docks when the revolutionaries threw the T-Mobile imports into the harbour? Talk about high tariffs!

Not that I’ve ever heard of, at least in the area of aviation I deal with. You might ‘dock’ it at an airport with mechanical ramps, but even then you’d usually just say taxi to the ramp or parking.

Imagine a US President saying he had a good call with the counterpart of a rogue state threatening to the existence of one of your allies. Wait you don’t have to imagine it unfortunately 🤮
