They did. They’re also the reason why it took Uber and Lyft ages to break into the Vegas market.

The explanation I heard is they planned to add it later and felt they’d get the money. They didn’t because usage was low.
It’s a shit design. It doesn’t really save you much time or effort.
I mean, I’d believe that too. I’m pretty far from it and avoid the strip as much as possible, so I’ve never had the “pleasure”.
I love the idea of public transportation. So I rode the hell out of it. Yeah, good idea. Bad concept you have to walk further to use it then actually walking to most places.

I’m not as pessimistic as you. This venture will obviously fail but at least musk took care of the expensive part of drilling the tunnels. What’s do you think about the over/under of this being converted to train within 15 years?

A car can barely fit in those tunnels. They would have to make those several times bigger for trains + add emergency exits and vents the Musk didn’t bother to build

Near me they built a pedestrian friendly trendy gentrified plaza. I looked on google maps. The parking lot is 5 times the size of the plaza.
This is called simulated urbanism.
