“Ban women from universities, higher education and most white-collar jobs.”
“Allow people to privately borrow against the taxable part of the future incomes or other economic activities of their children.”
So many execrable takes in one tweet, and that’s only two of them. I’m tempted to think he’s cynically outrage-farming, but then I remember who he is.
Not much else you can say at this point, right? I know Rocky’s a long-standing fixture in SneerWorld - with an infamous history in TESCREAL / adjacent spaces - but part of me wants to know how someone could end up like this (something tells me it’s really pathetic)
Somebody didnt do well on tinder
I always find it weird that someone would just announce to the world that they require government intervention to get a girlfriend.
When you nearly miss the submission deadline for the performative misogyny olympics (genuine opinions only edition). Alsl the problem with everything is that there exist things which are not gambling or are insufficiently unnecessarily high stakes gambling.
Okay but now I need to once again do a brief rant about the framing of that initial post.
the silicon valley technofascists are the definition of good times breed weak men
You’re not wrong about these guys being both morally reprehensible and also deeply pathetic. Please don’t take this as any kind of defense on their behalf.
However, the whole “good times breed weak men” meme is itself fascist propaganda about decadence breeding degeneracy originally written by a mediocre science fiction author and has never been a serious theory of History. It’s rooted in the same kind of masculinity-through-violence-as-primary-virtue that leads to those dreams of conquest. I sympathize with the desire to show how pathetic these people are by their own standards but it’s also critical to not reify the standards themselves in the process.
I appreciate this post very much. Thank you. <3
This true, but I’m convinced the original poster knows this and is using the term ironically.
damn, how can birth rates be so in peril in a culture that hates sex, women, and children so much? truly I am stumped. we must double down on hating sex, women, and children even more if we are to salvage this situation.
@sad_detective_man @TinyTimmyTokyo been seeing alot of anti “kid” “mother” rhetoric going viral on tiktok too :(
@sad_detective_man @TinyTimmyTokyo “only listen to women who don’t have kids” is the most recent hottake/ low blow.
Allow people to privately borrow against the taxable part of the future incomes or other economic activities of their children.
“Sorry Junior, I know you wanted to be an artist but you see back in 2025 I got really really into a gatcha game called Umamusume Pretty Derby and long story short you’re legally obligated to become a doctor.”
‘I know you’re upset, you have to know that those pixels were very shiny and I would have been sad for 3 minutes until the next distraction took over me’
Grok find me a neoliberal solution to the problem of being unable to monetize your progeny by having your sons till the fields and your daughters sold off.
Also not to give this blather more consideration than it deserves, but someone in the comments notes that since he banned women from higher education, which severely curtails their economic outcomes, this creates a perverse incentive to only have boys that you can borrow against, which isn’t that good for increasing the population in the long term.
I imagine that not only do you get to borrow against your sons’ future incomes as doctors or prompt engineers, but against the wealth of your daughters’ expected husbands.
Imagine how messy divorces now suddenly get. (Dont worry I know how they will fix this, just ban divorce!)
What is it with some people thinking that they own their children even after they are adults.
Over the last few years, I have fully gotten on board with the idea that the haunting vestige of the idea of people as property is one of the core weaknesses of American society, and the “western civilization” enthusiasts that promote its supremacy.
Of course, there are a lot of other people who have been on board with that point of view for centuries.
To those people “love” means “I want more than anything” and not a mutual relationship. They are possessive with everything in their life and that includes their children. They will never see their kids as other people until they are alone on some family holiday. And probably not even then.
They lack empathy. They lack imagination. They act like they lack object permanence with how much they hold onto the things they have.
Some people are just broken that way.
