But you should: Its people that make fascism possible, not monsters. Thats what make them so dangerous. The friendly coworker with his inappropriate Jokes, the old Lady that thinks you shouldn’t help refugees as long as [national] poor people are suffering, etc. Thats the front where fascism should be fought first. The moment they start waving their flags is a testament to all the times people didn’t tell other people to stop spreading hate. I dislike the narrative that the problems with Canada stem from the states. We export a huge amount of fascists and bigots per capita. These people live among us and it would be a mistake to brush them off as America’s influence.
I’m not really capable of violence, even against property. I live rather far from there but I’ll try to go, if only to witness things or be another body on the side of the counter protestors.
