A year ago I choose they/them pronouns with much hemming and hawing about if it was okay because I was totally cis. Eventually I settled on yes, but with a note in my bio that I was totally cishet. And uh, now here we are, in the biggest trans thread on lemmy.
But who wouldn’t want to be refereed to as they/them?

I think most people here are cool. To turn up and make some site history in the face of adversity. Been around many spaces and seen many eggs crack too… I’m glad you stuck around c:
I chose they/them on my old account years ago for “opsec reasons”. Or at least that’s what I told myself at the time. I still felt like I wasn’t allowed to use them or something. Like I was indulging in some cardinal sin. “I’m totally cis, I’m not allowed to use those.” And yet, 2 years later I’m on hrt and toiling away in the posting mines.

What you have to remember most cis people don’t mull over their pronouns I should also say the circle is complete
But who wouldn’t want to be refereed to as they/them? On a different note, that’s something reserved for cool people who aren’t me.
