This is exceptionally cruel, and condemns kids (many of whom are US citizens) to a lifetime of poverty. A similar measure in California passed a generation ago, was struck down by the courts, and helped usher in an era where the Republican party in the state is permanently in the minority.

Well no country could afford to take in everyone north of the darian gap. Its just too many people.
