minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish41•edit-211 months agoFor anyone wondering, I have this dude labeled as “fascist”. I don’t remember what they did, but it was probably definitive. Edit: For everyone asking, there is a feature called “tag user” on my app, I access it by first viewing the user. Going back to sleep, now.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink12•edit-211 months agoWait how do you label people? Is that built into the API or is that specific to an app?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•11 months agoIm curious as well. Im using boost. But i see now that you can give tags to usernames? Maybe thats it?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•11 months agoYea that’s it, some clients call it different things so I’m pretty sure it’s a client dependent thing
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish4•11 months agoI suspect it might be part of an app. Although I’m curious as well.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•11 months agoI’m using sync, but I’m pretty sure it’s native to the platform. I access it from the user profile in question.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•11 months agoI’m using an app, but I’m pretty sure the website itself has it.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•11 months agoIdk I was able to do it, don’t know if we’re using the same app tho. I’m on boost.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink7•11 months agoEveryone just labeled you as “Doesn’t even know how to label! Psssh!”
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish14•11 months agoI’m labeling you as someone who labels people (Can you tell me how to label people?)
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink7•11 months agoIts client dependent, on Boost it’s called tags and I can tag people from the users profile menu or the quick menu from a comment
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink5•11 months ago…why would ANYONE just naturally wonder what you’ve labelled this one specific user, if you yourself can’t even remember what they did?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink8•11 months agoI can’t remember specific instances that made me look at someone and label them. I tend to forget about the idiots I randomly meet on. The internet.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish11•11 months agoIt’s more if they’re wondering how shitty of a person they are (the answer is “very”)
minus-squareBeaver [she/her]linkfedilinkEnglish2•11 months agoSometimes its smart to immediately know where someone lands on a debate so that I can be ready to engage again.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink18•11 months agoI got him tagged is Right-wing Nut lol, tomato/tomatoe
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink5•11 months ago… I have to ask my app creator to add user tags now
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink9•11 months agoI’ve now got you labeled as “tells people what they’ve labeled people”.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish11•11 months agoI actually do have a habit of that. 😂
minus-squareBeaver [she/her]linkfedilinkEnglish3•11 months agoI also have that on old reddit with res.

Idk I was able to do it, don’t know if we’re using the same app tho. I’m on boost.
