Was it because he had to slow down due to yellow flag or does the last corner have track limits?
I think he aborted the lap because he was outside track limits there, but I’d have to go back to make sure.
Yeah he made a mistake in the last corner and that in itself cost him time, plus being outside track limits
It looked like his engineer called the yellow while it was a white flag.
The mistake in T16 shouldn’t have cost him that much time. It was on the approach to T18, where OCO slowed down to let him past to almost a standstill, causing a yellow to come out and Lando backing off.
