minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink20•9 months agoBecause in IT, the fix is always to power cycle. If that doesn’t work, you take it apart and put it back together and then magic happens.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•9 months agoI’ve taken the battery out a number of times and it’s not changed anything, I might try a full disassembly at some point anyway just for the fun of it though

I’ll give it a go I can’t see how that would help but maybe it’s a loose contact to the touchscreen or something
