I got a few hours into it, then the fetch-quest stuff started. That’s when I checked out. There’s some interesting game mechanics but it’s way too grindy for me.
WhyEssEff is #1 fan of the game and also manages the emotes so she added a handful, plus it’s a good game to all accounts and the emotes are fun/useful.

WhyEssEff, the mod who is de facto in charge of adding new emojis, really likes CrossCode. I think that’s all there is to it.

Exactly my opinion. It is interesting in some ways, but it apes the mmo style of quest design too closely for my tastes.
