Reactionaries stealing something black people invented to describe a real problem and then twisting it into horrid bullshit isn’t new I guess.
Literally had a boomer today try to out me as a “Karen” for mildly disagreeing with him. I literally wasn’t even being combative.
I have a headache. I am so tired of these adult children. Reactionary boomers are something else.

I thought it was supposed to be what white women who call the cops on any black person (including kids for example) were being called, such as for example that woman who called the cops on kids selling (lemonade?) cause they didn’t have a license or something.
That’s how I remember it originating but its been a while, I think the step from “endangering black lives” to “being rude to cashiers” was the first step it took to eventually becoming “a woman doing anything I don’t like.”
It might have been the first step, but it sure as hell was a deserved one.
To be fair boomer men are just as insufferable to service workers, if not more so
