Well yea if a person over the age of 50 doesn’t explicitly state the race of the person they’re talking about for no discernable reason you know the person was white.
That’s just normal people.
i always call people on this when they do this, mentioning the race of a person in a story they’re telling. 9 times out of 10 it wasn’t relevant in any way to the story but when questioned, they’ll say something like “I was just trying to paint a picture of the scene”.
OK so why didn’t you relay to me vivid descriptions of the setting and location? You just said “at the store” or “on the street”. I thought you wanted to “paint a picture” wordsmith
