The funniest thing about this to me is the complete lack of self-awareness. Like, obviously, this is a photo op meant to demonstrate his gun bona fides, which we now know he utterly lacks. But…couldn’t he have asked, literally anyone for advice? Personally I have very literal practical experience with guns (although I somehow know more than this dumbass), but if I were a politician doing something like this I would call up a buddy who knows their shit and be like, “Hey, dude, can you give me some pointers so I don’t make a complete ass of myself?” The fact that he clearly didn’t ask for (or listen to) any advice before doing this and no one stopped him really speaks volumes.
