This seems like a bad comparison because doesn’t the roach change the system by providing nutrients via digestion? Like if I eat vegetables my body will work better than if I eat junk food or straight up poison, which would give me the ability to make other meaningful changes rather than dealing with the health consequences. I guess I’m confused or overthinking this or something idk

The chicken is the system/capitalism. By your analogy the cockroach helps perpetuate the chicken as it’s consumed by it and provides nutriens
